Why Businesses Shouldn’t Allow Direct Messages On Facebook
As an individual on Facebook, allowing direct messages is great because you can engage more intimately with friends, share sensitive information, etc. BUT, as a business it is not beneficial to allow direct messaging:
1. If someone has something great to say about your company and/or product, force them to share it on your wall. This attracts more positive attention and allows others to see these praises.
